December 14th will be Popcorn and pjs night for CIA’s. Kids need to come dressed in pjs and bring a pillow and blanket.

Our children’s choir has been working hard the past few weeks. We are proud to be able to join the Christmas Cantata this year. Parents please be sure the kids arrive on time and ready! Practice is each Sunday at 4pm.
It’s Christmastime, which means it’s ANGEL TREE time! is year we
will be providing special gifts for two groups of children. Ornaments with speci c gifts are for 30 teenage foster kids in the Hart and Franklin County area. You are not expected to get both gifts, as some may cost about $25 each. ese items are due by Wednesday Dec. 7th. e Royston Housing Authority will have 30 kids at their after-school Christmas party and have provided us with the age range of each child. ese gifts should be about $5-10 and are due by Wednesday Dec. 14th. Please make sure to attach the ornament to your gift for identi cation.
Operation Christmas Child
ank you so much for being such a generous congregation! As a church we made 179 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child this year! at is 29 more than our goal, and 98 more than last year. As a collection center we packed 4,991 shoeboxes and could not have done it without the help of John Jordan and Kevin Harris. Men, go ahead and make plans to help us next year Nov. 20th! e Athens Area team collected 27,214 shoeboxes, a 6% increase from 2015! Please continue to pray for the receiving countries, pastors, and children throughout the year.
