Announcements for the week of March 13, 2016

CIA’s (Children in Action)

Everyone is invited to a church wide covered dish meal March 20th immediately following Sunday service. Please bring your favorite covered dish to share and join us. The children’s department will host an Easter egg hunt after the meal. All children ages 10 and under are welcome to bring a basket and join the hunt!

We are so excited to have 4 kids attending Student Life camp this year! To help with the cost, the kids would like to invite everyone to a movie night, Sunday, April 10, at 5pm. The movie will be free for all, donations for campwill be excepted and snacks and drinks may be purchased during the movie.

CIA’s action project for the month of March is to assemble ready-to-go packs for the homeless. Needed items: bottles of water, wipes, non-perishable snacks, and maybe fast food gift cards. CIA’s will add an encouraging card and will keep these in their parents car so they can be given out when they see a homeless person. If you would like one of these bags for your own car, please see one of our CIAs. Donation bins are located in the children’s department.

Community Prayer Rally

Just a reminder of the Community Prayer Rally Thursday March 17th, at 7 PM at the Royston United Methodist Church.  We have two of our members- Dr. Hugh Kirby and Mrs. Jean Davison taking part this time.  Please plan to attend and support them.  Remember that our church has a Prayer Box in the front of the sanctuary to place prayer requests, which will be taken to the Prayer Rally and prayed over.
