CIA’s (Children in Action)
Are we ready to take our kids on another summer adventure like no other?? Submerged is this year’s theme and June 6-10th is the date! Make your plans to attend, help where needed and invite the neighborhood kids to join us!! See Jina Harris or Teresa Phillips for more information.
There will be a CPR and first aid training class for children’s department staff and volunteers who need the session. The class will be Saturday, April 30 9am-12 in the Family life center. You must register for the class to attend. Contact Teresa Phillips to register.
The CIA mission project for the month of April is collecting back packs and school supplies for our kids at the Royston Housing Authority. There is a collection box in the children’s department. We will present the backpacks at our last backyard bible study for this school year.
The 5th Annual Jammin Jubilee Summer Day Camp will be our biggest and best yet! We have four incredible weeks at two great locations. Now accepting applications at RoystonBaptistChurch.org.
Pack a Play Pen!
For the month of May, Community Missions is collecting items for the Franklin Pregnancy Crisis Center. Items may include - diapers, wipes, clothes, baby food, etc. We will have a play pen in the RBC parlor and fill it until Sunday, May 29th.
Graduation Sunday will be held on Sunday, May 29. If you or someone you know has/is graduating, please speak with either Caleb or Jonathan. Please give/send all pictures to Caleb or Jonathan by Sunday, May 22.
Special Called Business Meeting
There will be a Special Called Business Meeting April 24th after the 11 am service to vote on the Endowment Committee’s proposal to create and sustain a Planned Giving Committee and Endowment Fund. Please mark this date on your calendar and make plans to attend.
