Mid-Summer Praise

I hope you all have found some sweet times of refreshment this summer. It is often in the small moments of life that the wonder of God is fully realized. It may be the glowing symphony of the fireflies on an evening walk, the drumming buzz of hummingbird wings draining the nectar of your porch flowers, the morphing oranges and violet of the sunset as you watch the last light of the day melt away, the tiny hand in yours in the park, or simply the warm breeze that stirs remembrances of picnics, the beach, or precious friends and family. As we live our lives hand in hand with God, it becomes clearer to see His blessings in all the moments of our lives. We live out Psalm 66:1, “Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name” and “Come and see what God has done, how awesome His works in man’s behalf!” Ps. 67:5. We can rejoice as a church family for the big blessings of bringing our staff of Andrew Smith and the Deal family to us and the provision of Dr. Kirby’s leadership in our interim period as well as the individual moments we recognize the small blessings of God’s constant love over us. He is in it all!

Forever praising Him!
