"Jesus asked his disciples, 'Who do people say I am?' They replied, 'Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; still others, one of the prophets.' 'But what about you?' Jesus asked. 'Who do you say I am?' Peter answered, 'You are the Christ.'" Mark 8:27-29
"Who do you say I am?" This is the question that was given to the youth this past week at Student Life Camp in Cleveland, TN. Throughout the week, the youth learned a little more and more about who Jesus is. They learned where He came from, how He loves us, and what He did for us. But the question still remained, "Who do you say I am?" We all have been taught so much about Jesus, just like the youth were this past week. But we have to make a decision as to who Jesus is to us. Is He simply a great teacher or a strong moral man? Is He someone who we should simply imitate? Or is He more? Is He, as Peter said, "the Christ." So as you go through your day and your week, ask yourself this question: Who do you say Jesus is?
