I heard a quote one time that went basically like this “you can’t have sorrow and grief unless you’ve had the good memories”. In this time of grief for me and my family I can’t thank the church enough for all the support, prayer, and words of encouragement for me and my family. This is a very difficult time but the one constant thing is that there are so many great memories. One verse that kept me going through this difficult time and every other hardship I’ve faced is James 1:2; “consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds.” The passing of my grandfather is hands down one of the hardest things I’ve gone through, but through it, family was brought together, memories were shared, and relationships were rebuilt.
The point of me saying all this is to express thanks to this church family for all they’ve done in my life and to encourage you when something isn’t going your way, or you’re facing a difficult time.
He is in control and will be glorified always!
