Paul's Journeys

The kids are beginning a six week study about Paul’s journeys. Paul was a fascinating man and great example of how God peruses us, has a plan for our lives, and loves us unconditionally. Paul was possibly the only man with a background and ability to speak to both the Jews and the Gentiles. Paul was born “Saul” and was a “Hebrew of Hebrews” and yet held Roman citizenship and that was an important factor in his ability to speak with confidence to both Jews and Greeks. This citizenship even got him out of a tough situation after being arrested by the Roman authorities. Paul was once a persecutor of the church. Paul was even there when Stephen was stoned to death. God pursued Paul on the road to Damascus, gave him new eyes to see the plan he had for Paul all along. God even gave him a new name. At that moment, God did not see a man who had killed people for preaching the gospel, God saw His child whom He loved.

I pray that during the six weeks our kids are learning about Paul, they come to understand the powerful, unconditional love God has for all of His children.

Please pray for our children and leaders. Thank you!
