The Gathering

The Gathering is the youth ministry of Royston Baptist Church for middle and high school
students. It’s a place where students come together in a fun, safe, and authentic environment
to build real friendships, ask real questions, and encounter a real God.
We’re called The Gathering because we believe that when we gather consistently, we grow
deeply—and then we go boldly into our schools, families, and communities carrying Christ’s
love. Inspired by Psalm 1, our logo, a tree, is a reminder that when we’re rooted in God’s Word,
we grow strong and bear fruit that impacts the world around us.
Here’s what we’re all about:

-  We Gather — weekly to laugh, worship, play, and learn together in a space where
students are known and valued.
-  We Grow — in God’s Word, learning what it means to follow Jesus daily—not just on
Sundays and Wednesdays. We encourage deep questions, personal reflection, and
spiritual habits that last.
- We Go — out into our world, sharing the love of Christ and making disciples in our
friend groups, teams, classrooms, and homes.

At The Gathering, we want students to graduate with confidence in their faith, a deep knowledge
of who God is, and the experience of having walked with Him through both ordinary and life-
shaping moments. Our goal is simple: be rooted in Christ and bear fruit that lasts.
