Aaron Maxwell
Family Life Pastor
I serve as the Family Life Pastor here at RBC. For the past 15 years, my wife, Amber, and I have been working with middle and high school students—a calling that has taken us around the world and now to this incredible community. Here at RBC, I have the privilege of overseeing ministry from nursery through high school. As kids grow, my desire is to see them grow in their knowledge of who God is, understand how deeply He loves them, and learn what it means to follow Him.

Ministry has been an incredible journey for us. We spent 12 years overseas—first in South Korea, serving in a Christian boarding program for international students, and then as dorm parents at a missionary school in Dakar, Senegal. Those years were filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, walking through challenges, and seeing God work in the lives of students from all over the world. Even more special, our three boys—Beckett, Reese, and Declan—were all born during our time in Senegal.
Those experiences profoundly shaped my understanding of ministry, discipleship, and community. Living life alongside students taught me the importance of creating a safe, Christ-centered environment where young people can wrestle with their faith, grow deep spiritual roots, and experience the love of Jesus in real and tangible ways. Whether it’s helping children build a strong biblical foundation or walking with teenagers as they navigate questions of faith and identity, my heart is for students to experience authentic community and the lasting joy of following Jesus.
